
January 12th 2010 saw one of the biggest disaster to strike the western hemisphere, one of the most poorest countries, Haiti. A massive 7.0-magnitude earthquake has struck the Caribbean nation, taking over 50,000 peoples life's. Thousands of buildings collapsed and aftershocks continue to cause problems for the people of Haiti. This quake has lefted homes and shelters in the ground people have been forced to live on the streets and in makeshift camps in open public spaces. All across the world people have started to taken words into actions by helping this poverty struck country, charities all over the glode have started to raise money to aid the people of Haiti. British Red Cross, Africa development trust or just some of many organisations which are collecting donations from the public to help bring Haiti, food, water and try and reestablish housing for the people who have been made homeless.
