As part of this project on making a thriller we had to produce a match cut which included a shot reverse shot and some dialogue a conversation between two or more characters. there was one criteria we has to work with the 180 degrees rule. The first match cut in our clip was of me walking down the corridor, I walked into a class room, the match cut was of me on one side of the door opening the door and the other side of the door entering the room. Because the shots worked well together along side my well trained editing from the teachers I managed to have a good, effective match-cut. In this production I mainly was involved in Editing and acting, this was a good chance to really use my Final Cut Pro skills. On making a thriller clip this type of shot is effective as people working into room and the audience not knowing what's going to happen next they feel anxious and this creates suspense.
