News current affairs events

Gardner Peter Ling (right) was ordered to serve a sentence of 18 years for the killing of Lynda Casey as the judge told him he showed 'callousness beyond belief'. Ling 50, who was motivated by a jealous rage battered his lover to death with a rock after he learned that Casey was engaging in a seperate affair with another student. Ling hid his his victim's naked body whom he also called 'passion flower' under leaves whilst stealing her mobile phone and then accusing her of provocation, an act which was deamed heartless, devious and manipulative by the judge.

This story caught my attention as it's unique case and deviates away from the norm as it's not your typical story. It also ressembles a passionatate love story that turns into an extremely bad romance reminding me of a twisted thriller.
